Both Japanese exchanges students at USN Yota Sasada and Kenta Kowatari, Associate Professor Ryuichi Shibasaki (Japan), Professor Ziaul Haque Munim (Norway), Professor Halvor Schøyen (Norway), and Professor Jean-Paul Rodrigue (USA), attended and presented research papers at the Annual conference of the International Association Maritime Economists (IAME) in June 2025 in Bergen, Norway.
