Two students from the University of Tokyo (UTokyo) completed 3 months exchange at University of South-Eastern Norway (USN) from April to June 2025 funded by the TIDE project. One of the students was Yota Sasada (bachelor level) and another Kenta Kowatari (master level). In addition, two PhD students from the University of Tokyo also completed research visits at USN

During their 3 months exchange at USN, the UTokyo students:

• audited several courses at USN
• attended internal research seminars at USN
• attended Nor-Shipping 2025 event
• presented their thesis research at USN seminars
• participated in knowledge exchange with USN students and faculty members

In addition to research and educational activities, they stduents enjoyed cultural exchanges in Norway as well.
