- Japanese exchanges students Yota Sasada and Kenta Kowatari, and USN students as well as faculty members attended the Nor-Shipping 2025 industry conference event.
- Both Japanese exchanges students, Associate Professor Ryuichi Shibasaki (Japan), Professor Ziaul Haque Munim (Norway), Professor Halvor Schøyen (Norway), and Professor Jean-Paul Rodrigue (USA), attended and presented research papers at the Annual conference of the International Association Maritime Economists (IAME) in June 2025 in Bergen, Norway.
- Fang Zhang and Ziaul Haque Munim from USN presented research at the The 5th Annual Conference on Port and Shipping Economic Systems Engineering cum The 3rd Conference on Transport and Supply Chain Resilience and Digital Transformation in November 2025.
